Description

We run two senior men’s amateur sides, with the Men’s 1st XV playing in National 1 and our Men’s 2nd XV playing in West Reserve 1 in season 2021-22. At Stirling County, our women’s side compete in the Tennent’s Premiership, routinely being a top 4 side and challenging for honours. We are extremely proud of the large contingent of home-grown talent that has come through the club’s academy system, however the squad is always open and welcoming of new players.

All our coaches complete a Disclosure Scotland PVG check before they begin, all have minimum rugby qualifications and are on the pathway of the Scottish Rugby Coach Education system. From U15 to U18, we participate in SRU-run competitive structures along with various friendly matches. We will normally operate at least two teams at each age group and play predominantly on a Saturday morning (majority afternoon at U18).

Minis Rugby, P4-7, is learning the basics of the game in a safe and gradual manner in line with all Scottish Rugby’s coach education and playing pathways.
