County End Continue Latics Partnership

We are pleased to announce the continuation of our valued partnership with County End Electrical, who will sponsor the front of the academy kits for the 2025/26 season.

The agreement comes at a significant moment for the club, as the academy officially returns to Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) status following our promotion back to the Football League.

Latics lost EPPP status after relegation three years ago, but thanks to tireless work throughout the summer and the club’s on field progress, the academy is once again operating within the EPPP structure, laying the foundation for a stronger pathway for young talent at Boundary Park.

County End Electrical have been long-term supporters of the club and are firmly embedded in daily operations at Boundary Park.

Since 2022, they have carried out extensive work on the stadium floodlights and have played a crucial role in modernising facilities across the ground.

In addition, they continue to provide essential matchday electrical services to ensure the smooth running of fixtures throughout the season.

Their commitment to youth development is equally strong. Last year, County End Electrical sponsored the Football & Education Programme, underlining their dedication to helping young people progress both on and off the pitch.

Their ongoing support reflects a shared ambition to develop the next generation of Latics players and to invest in the wider community.

Phil McGarty, Director of County End Electrical, said: "We’re incredibly proud to continue our support for Oldham Athletic, especially at such a significant moment for the academy.

"The return to EPPP status is a huge achievement for everyone involved and reflects the hard work that’s gone in behind the scenes over the summer.

"At County End Electrical, we’ve always believed in investing in young people and creating opportunities for them to progress.

"Supporting the academy fits perfectly with those values, and it’s something we’re genuinely passionate about”.

This renewed partnership highlights the collective commitment of both the club and County End Electrical to local heritage, community involvement and the development of home-grown players.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Phil and his team for their continued support and ongoing contribution to the club.
