POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist Men's Soccer team capped an unbeaten non-conference schedule with a 1-0 victory over Lehigh on Tuesday night at Tenney Stadium. With the result, the Red Foxes improve to 4-0-2 on the season.

After a scoreless first half, the Red Foxes found their breakthrough in the 59th minute. Sophomore forward Adriano Iannello netted his second goal of the season, finishing a setup from Arion Ulaj to put Marist ahead 1-0.

Lehigh pressed hard in the second half, outshooting Marist 7-6, but senior goalkeeper Jamie Lowell came up clutch. Lowell recorded five saves, including three in the final 15 minutes, to secure his third shutout of the year.

The Red Foxes tallied nine shots in the match, led by Ulaj's three attempts. Marist's defense stood tall against a persistent Lehigh attack, which was held scoreless despite earning five corner kicks and forcing six offsides.

The win gives Marist its first unbeaten non-conference slate since joining the MAAC, providing momentum heading into league play.
