Johnson Named to Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team
PHILADELPHIA – The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced their 2024 end of season awards and among those winners is Katie Johnson as she has been named to the All-Academic team.
Johnson comes out of her junior year with her best season yet as an Explorer. She led all of La Salle in goals (35), assists (8), points (43), shots (73), and shots on goal (54) in 2024 and was ranked among the best in the Atlantic 10. Johnson finished the season with six games in which she scored at least four goals with her most coming in the season opener against FDU. Johnson scored a career-high six goals with two assists in a 19-10 win over the Knights. To conclude the season, Johnson added four goals in each of the last three games she played.
Johnson is majoring in nutrition and currently holds a 4.0 GPA.
